\n Our winery represents not only a family tradition of five generations, but also an unwavering commitment to quality and innovation. \n <\/div>\n <\/div> <\/div>\n

We tend our vineyards with passion and dedication<\/strong>, warmly welcoming visitors<\/a> and offering them the opportunity to taste the fruits of our labor. Our history, made up ofsacrifice, love for the land and entrepreneurial spirit<\/strong>, is the foundation on which we build the future, keeping our roots firm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We cultivate about 10 hectares of vines<\/strong>, most of which are dedicated to Barbera d’Asti, with an annual production of about 40,000 bottles<\/a>. We welcome our guests here at the winery for tours, tastings of our products and direct sales.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today it is Sergio who leads the winery<\/strong>, supported by dad Dario, dispenser of valuable advice, and sister Nadia, in welcoming and visiting the winery. <\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>

    For more than a decade, our winery has been committed to environmental sustainability, which began with the installation of a photovoltaic system that allows us to produce clean energy and reduce our impact on the environment. <\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/article>\n\n

    We also recover rainwater to carry out treatments on the vineyards, avoiding the use of additional water resources and minimizing our ecological impact, but above all we are committed to not using herbicides and chemical fertilizers, maintaining a natural balance that respects the land and the species that inhabit it. <\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/article>\n\n

    \n The Lake of St. Agnes\n <\/h2>\n
    \n an oasis of nature among the vineyards of Monferrato\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n

    St. Agnes Lake<\/strong>, which we have owned for the past few years, is a charming man-made lake and nature reserve<\/strong>, nestled among vineyards and reeds, which provides an ideal habitat<\/strong> for various species of birds, making it a favorite spot for birdwatchers and nature lovers.<\/strong> Its 13-hectare area, reflects the surrounding hills, creating a panorama of rare beauty<\/strong> that enchants visitors in every season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    St. Agnes Lake is also a hub for no-kill sport fishing<\/strong>, offering enthusiasts a serene and pristine environment in which to practice their passion. The presence of a rich reedbed and surrounding marshy area contributes to the biodiversity of the site<\/strong>, making it a valuable ecosystem to be preserved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For us, the protection <\/strong>and enhancement <\/strong>of this corner of paradise are fundamental, as they represent the perfect harmony between the work of man and the generosity of nature<\/strong>.       Our story begins<\/em>\n <\/h3>\n

      Our history began in 1868 with Felice, son of the progenitor Giovanni, who started farming in the hills of Monferrato. With his wife Luigia, Felice passed on his love of the land to his children. After his untimely death, Valerio took over the reins of the farmstead, continuing to grow wheat, grapes and raise cattle, taking the products to the market in Nizza Monferrato.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/article>\n\n

      New roots and land for the company<\/em>\n <\/h3>\n
      \n \n\n

      Meeting Violanda, the daughter of a family that had emigrated and then returned from Australia, brought new soil to the company. The couple cultivated 12 hectares of vineyards, passing on their passion for the countryside to their children, including Dario, who, after the war, chose the tractor over his studies, modernizing the farm with machinery and new ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/article>\n\n

      Expansion and tradition
      in family wines<\/em>\n <\/h3>\n
      \n \n\n

      In the 1960s, Dario and his wife Elsa expanded the winery and started selling bottled wines with custom labels. Among the first products was the Barbera d’Asti superiore Violanda, which celebrated the family connection to the land. The “Lunch on the Farm” initiative, organized with the town of Agliano, brought many visitors to discover rural life and our wines.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/article>\n\n

      Beyond methanol: the new challenges<\/em>\n <\/h3>\n
      \n \n\n

      Overcoming challenges such as the methanol crisis of 1986, the family expanded the business to foreign markets, consolidating the company’s quality and reputation. In the following years, the passion for viticulture continued with Dario’s son Sergio, who, despite a prestigious career in the wine industry, chose to return to the company to preserve the family tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/article>\n\n
