We were born here
— Where we work, cultivate and welcome those who want to learn about our world.
Between Costigliole, Calosso and Agliano stretches the small hamlet of Paludo
Water richness, as the name suggests, has made the river bank fertile, creating a true biodiversity nook.
This is where our family, the Cocitos, originated in the farmstead of the same name, located next to the famous Fons Salutis.
This area is renowned for its beneficial waters used in hydropinic cures in the upper part of Montà Crena. Our centuries-old vine stocks and the Violanda cru sink deeply into the soil of Agliano, giving our wines uniqueness.
The giant bench
In addition to viticulture, our area offers unique scenery for those who wish to explore. One example is the Bricco di Lu, one of the most striking viewpoints in the area, where you will find one of the famous giant benches.
From here you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Monferrato hills, a great place to take a souvenir photo and savor the essence of this region.
The lake and nature reserve
St. Agnes Lake, now our property, is a small, precious body of water surrounded by unspoiled nature, perfect for a relaxing walk or outdoor picnic.
The surrounding area is part of a nature reserve that provides a safe haven for various species of flora and fauna. The perfect place for birdwatchers or simply for those seeking a peaceful moment surrounded by nature.
Biking and hiking trails in the hills
For sports and nature lovers, Monferrato offers a vast network of trails, perfect for both hiking and biking.
These trails wind through hills, vineyards and historic villages, offering routes suitable for all levels, from leisurely scenic walks to more challenging climbs for experienced hikers and cyclists.
